FAQ

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are a way to add thickness, volume, and length to lashes that aren’t as full, dark or not as long as you currently would like them to be.

Synthetic individual lashes are applied one at a time to each natural lash for the most natural or even dramatic look, near your lash line using an adhesive that

is made specifically for eyelash extensions.

Why are eyelash extensions so expensive?

Applying a set of eyelash extensions is a very intricate skill. Clients put their trust in us to work on their delicate eye area using sharp tweezers and strong adhesives. We are licensed eyelash technicians who've gained years of experience.

The individual isolation of each abled natural lash requires skill and time, with fills and full sets taking anywhere between 1-3 hours to complete. Therefore, this is not a cheap or speedy service.

I have lost a few extensions in the first 24 hours, is this normal?

Yes, this is completely normal. The average person loses 2-5 lashes per eye, per day.

Why have I lost a lot of lashes from one eye only?

This maybe an indication that the client sleeps on that side during the night. This puts pressure onto the bond and can cause them to fall off. Sadly, most clients are so sure that they sleep on their back all night and never move, but that's really not the case.

Can I pick the look I want?

It varies. Your eyelash technician will explain to you what your natural lashes can support. We can only work off of your natural eyelashes, therefore we cannot create something out of nothing. Eyelash extensions can only enhance what lashes you have. Your eyelash technician can only apply an extension to suitable natural lashes. When an extension is left, it means that it's not strong enough to hold an eyelash extension.

Am I a good candidate for eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions can be a great addition to your beauty life.  Almost anyone can enjoy the benefits, but certain conditions may restrict you:

🔸You frequently and excessively rub your eyes.

🔸You have highly sensitive eyes.

🔸You have recently completed or are undergoing chemotherapy.

🔸Poor Hygiene

🔸You are taking any thyroid medications.

🔸 Latex allergy.

🔸 You have no natural lashes.

🔸Your eyes are not free of any signs or symptoms of infection.

🔸 If you are ill or currently have allergies. If you have a cold, bronchitis, the flu, etc. Please stay home and get well. We can always reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better.

🔸 If your natural lashes are very, very curly. The direction your natural lash grows with the applied extension may result in a unnatural and unflattering direction once it begins to grow out. This may be more of a personal annoyance than anything.
